After christmas.

It's almost time to put everything back up the attic.
All the lights, the decorations, the tree...
But before  that, I wanted to make some sketches. This is the first:
I wanted to add some color, but I think I will leave it like it is.

We put the tree in front of the door this year, so there is more space for my father. He is in a wheelchair since suffering a stroke, and the room is a bit small.
We put a note on the door, do not enter, but I have walked in a few times, wanting to answer the phone. The tree almost fell twice.

Happy holidays!

Christmas market

I went to the Christmas market today. It was held in the summerhouse of an old merchants house called ‘Ceres’.
I call it a summerhouse, but it’s called ‘airhouse’ in dutch.
It's the only one left in the area, but I couldn't find out what it is.
Anyway, it was beautiful: the building, the decorations.

The tree in the garden is a purple beech, it is more than a century old.
